What areas are treated with hyaluronic acid injection?
The areas most commonly treated with hyaluronic acid injections are the cheeks, around the eyes, the nasolabial silo (wrinkles between the nose and mouth) and around the mouth (perioral wrinkles and bitterness fold).
The dosage of filler is adjusted according to the areas of the face, to treat superficial or deeper wrinkles. Certain acids with little or no cross-linking can also be used to reduce scar marks and other imperfections.
The face is an area particularly suitable for treatment with hyaluronic acid, which plumps and smoothes the skin in a natural way.
However, other very specific acids can be used on the body to tighten the skin, and this is possible with the Profhilo treatment.
