Dark circle mesotherapy is a treatment designed to gently and effectively reduce dark circles. This non-invasive treatment relies on the injection of revitalizing active ingredients, which work to hydrate and brighten the eye area, maintaining a youthful look and therefore a youthful face.

What is a mesotherapy treatment for dark circles?

It involves injecting a mixture of depigmenting, hydrating and stimulating components into the dermis to lighten your dark circles and revitalize the eye area.

This mixture is injected using a micro-needle by a qualified healthcare professional, in the form of small boluses directly into the dermis, on the targeted areas.

We use the NCTF® 135 HA, an injectable complex composed of 60 essential ingredients that work synergistically to revitalize the skin and effectively target pigmented dark circles.

  • 12 vitamins, promote cell growth and stimulate skin metabolism, which helps to lighten skin and reduce pigmentation
  • 24 amino acids, support the production of collagen and elastin, thus strengthening the skin structure and helping to fade pigmentation and improving firmness
  • Hyaluronic acid, intensely hydrates, smoothes fine lines and activates cell renewal, which helps to reduce the appearance of overly colored
  • Antioxidants (such as glutathione), protect the skin against oxidative stress, reduce excess melanin and lighten pigmented dark circles, thus providing light and radiance
  • 6 minerals, regulate cellular exchanges, optimize tissue nutrition and improve microcirculation

Who is mesotherapy treatment for dark circles suitable for?

It is intended for women and men who have colored or dark circles, and not for hollow ones.

How does a dark circle mesotherapy session take place?

Before the session

It all begins with a consultation with your doctor, which is essential to assess your needs and check for any contraindications (pregnancy, skin infections, etc.). This step allows you to adapt the session to your skin type and the nature of your dark circles (vascular, pigmented, hollow, etc.).

During the session

Skin preparation

The area under the eyes is cleaned and disinfected under strict hygiene conditions. Anesthetic cream may be applied, although it is not essential: the fineness of the needles makes the procedure less painful.

Injection of revitalizing active ingredients

The practitioner injects a nutrient complex (NCTF) into the superficial dermis® 135 HA) using a very fine needle. The injections are given in small boluses precisely distributed around the entire perimeter of the eye, for even diffusion and a targeted revitalizing effect. The procedure is quick and painless.

After the session

A soothing cream is applied to aid skin recovery. Slight papules will appear at the targeted areas, but these disappear spontaneously within 45 minutes to 24 hours depending on the patient.

Unlike hyaluronic acid, it does not alter volumes: there is no swelling or risk of over-correction, which guarantees subtlety, naturalness and no social exclusion.

You can resume your activities immediately after the session. It is simply recommended:

  • Avoid sun exposure during the day after treatment
  • Apply a restorative cream or SPF 50 sunscreen

For a lasting and optimal effect, several sessions may be necessary, to be incorporated regularly into your routine to maintain a fresh, smooth and luminous look.

As a general rule, we recommend three sessions spaced one month apart.

meso-dark circles treatment technique

Mesotherapy is based on injecting NCTF® 135 HA, a revitalizing complex composed of 60 essential ingredients, including vitamins, amino acids, HA, antioxidants, and minerals, to address under-eye pigmentation, circulation, and hydration. It specifically targets under-eye discoloration by brightening skin and improving circulation.

They are superficial, making them relatively painless. The practitioner uses a very fine microneedle to inject it in a targeted manner, in small boluses, ensuring a uniform and precise distribution of the active ingredients. The procedure is generally not very uncomfortable; depending on the patient's preferences, an anesthetic cream can be applied, although this is rarely necessary due to the gentleness of the technique.

What areas can be treated with dark circle mesotherapy?

Eye contour:
• Pigmented circles (brown, bluish or purplish)
• Fine lines in the periorbital region
• Loss of shine

What results can we expect from mesotherapy for dark circles?

From the first sessions, the skin appears more hydrated and luminous.

After a complete protocol, the patient can expect to achieve the following effects:

  • Long-lasting reduction of overly dark color: dark pigments are reduced, resulting in a more even and luminous result
  • Firming: the treated area becomes smoother and more supple
  • Radiance: by reducing signs of fatigue, mesotherapy brings vitality and freshness

It is recommended to avoid for a few days before and after the session to limit the risk of bruising

What to do if you have dark circles under your eyes?

Complementary care: filling of hollow dark circles by injection of hyaluronic acid (ah)

It's important to clearly distinguish between two distinct issues: colored dark circles vs. sunken dark circles. Mesotherapy isn't designed to fill in hollows under the eyes. It only treats dark circles (brown, bluish, or purplish).
If your main concern is a visible hollow that darkens the eyes, we will favor hyaluronic acid injections.

Why use injections to fill in dark circles?

Over time, or for hereditary reasons, suborbital fat can diminish, leaving a hollow furrow between the lower eyelid and cheek that can make you look tired, even when you're rested. Injecting hyaluronic acid, specifically formulated for this delicate area, can subtly restore volume and smooth out dark circles.

How does a session to fill hollow dark circles take place?

Prior medical consultation
A doctor assesses their nature and confirms that this procedure is appropriate. He also ensures that there are no contraindications (medical history, significant fatty pockets, etc.)

With the cannula

The doctor uses a cannula inserted with a simple pre-hole to place the product without leaving marks. This cannula allows the component to be distributed evenly, delicately coating the hollow with a thin layer of hyaluronic acid. This injection method minimizes the risk of bruising and guarantees a harmonious result, perfectly adapted to this thin and fragile area.

Immediate and natural result

It is visible immediately after the session, with a clear correction of the hollow. Optimal effectiveness is observed after 7 to 10 days, once the HA has been well integrated into the tissues and will last on average 3 to 4 months depending on the patient.

Why combine these two treatments?

In some cases, patients experience both a hollow and a dark coloration.
It is then possible to combine mesotherapy (to lighten) and hyaluronic acid (to fill the hollow).

For lasting results, it is essential to repeat sessions over time. Regular follow-up helps maintain the treatment's effectiveness over the long term.
