What is a PRP injection?

A PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injection is a technique which consists of reinjecting platelets from the patient's blood in order to accelerate healing and cell regeneration.

The regenerative properties of this blood plasma concentrate are used in cosmetic surgery, combat the effects of aging et rejuvenate the appearance of the skin.

PRP acts both as a patented de regeneration and bio-stimulation. It is a natural method, 100% biocompatible, allowing cell regeneration and skin rejuvenation.

Since PRP comes from our own body, we can avoid the rare side effects that we may encounter with other techniques (granulomas, infections).

PRP injection technique

The PRP injection technique is based on the distinction between 3 components of blood: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. It consists of isolating the latter, which are bathed in plasma, in order to reinject them into the patient's skin.

These blood platelets then release growth factors which stimulate the multiplication of fibroblasts and thus lead to the natural production of collagen.

Course of a PRP injection session

An initial consultation with a doctor from our clinic will be mandatory before starting PRP treatment. This first appointment will be used to define your objectives and establish a treatment protocol adapted to your problem.

Once the 24-hour reflection period has passed, the doctor will give you another appointment to begin your treatment.

The PRP injection session takes place in the aesthetic doctor's office, after facial makeup removal.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections take place in several stages:

Blood sample : The sessionPRP injection begins with taking 15mL of blood from a vein in the elbow, as for a traditional blood test
Centrifugation: the collected blood is then placed in a centrifuge for 1500 rpm to isolate the platelets
Injection: after disinfection of the area, the doctor gives the injection via a gun mesoinjector. The practitioner covers the entire area and the procedure is not painful for the patient
