Microneedling radiofrequency is a treatment that firms the skin, smooths its texture, and reduces wrinkles and acne scars.

Before the session, the skin is carefully prepared and disinfected with 70% alcohol. An anesthetic cream is then applied to the area to be treated to limit discomfort. The equipment is prepared by selecting the appropriate tip for the area concerned, and the Genius device is set up for treatment.
The treatment then begins with the Genius device, which combines microneedling and radiofrequency. Microneedling uses fine needles that puncture the skin in a controlled manner to create microchannels. These microperforations stimulate the skin's natural regeneration. Throughout the session, a Zimmer cooling system is used continuously to limit pain and protect the skin's surface. Between each session, the skin is carefully cleansed with a cotton pad soaked in Biseptine to remove any impurities and maintain strict hygiene. At the end of the session, a soothing post-treatment cream is applied generously to soothe the skin.

After the session, it is common to experience redness, swelling, and a feeling of warmth, which are temporary and generally last from a few hours to a few days. It is recommended to apply a repair cream daily for a week, as well as sunscreen with an SPF 50+ for 15 days, even in the absence of direct sun exposure. Makeup should be avoided for 72 hours. In cases of acne-prone skin, an antibiotic cream may be prescribed, and for patients prone to herpes, specific prophylaxis is recommended, starting three days before the session and continuing four days after. A return to normal activities is possible after 24 to 48 hours, provided strong sun exposure is avoided.
The protocol generally includes 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. The first effects are visible after several weeks, while the final result is appreciated between 3 and 6 months after the end of treatment. Improvement in skin quality can continue for up to 6 months. To maintain these results, maintenance sessions are recommended every 12 to 18 months.
