What is Sofwave® treatment?

Sofwave™ is based on SUPERB™ technology, which uses high-intensity, synchronous parallel ultrasound beams. These ultrasound waves heat the mid-dermis to a depth of approximately 1,5 millimeters, at a temperature of 60-70°C, stimulating the remodeling of collagen and elastin. The epidermis is protected thanks to the Sofcool™ cooling system, which regulates the temperature in real time.
The beams create cylindrical thermal zones separated by intact tissue, allowing the skin to be tightened and toned without damaging the underlying structures (bones, nerves, fat, blood vessels). Sofwave™ acts on sagging skin, wrinkles and fine lines, and can effectively reshape the face, the tail of the eyebrow, the neck, etc.
How does a Sofwave® session take place?
Before the session
A medical consultation is essential before any treatment. The practitioner will assess your skin condition and medical history, and determine the appropriate treatment options for your needs. A personalized treatment plan will then be established.
During the session
The treatment is based on the use of technology Softwave®, a system ofmicrofocused ultrasound Innovative. The practitioner moves the Sofwave handpiece over the areas to be treated.®, diffusing high-frequency ultrasound into the mid-dermis to stimulate collagen production and improve skin firmness. The cooling system Sofcool® protects the epidermis and limits any discomfort during the session.
Depending on the area being treated, the handpiece can be moved precisely to evenly target the entire face or neck, ensuring deep and even stimulation.
Immediately afterwards, a LaseMD session® is carried out. This gentle fractional laser acts on the surface of the skin to smooth skin texture, even out skin tone and promote the penetration of restorative active ingredients. The combination of Softwave® and LaseMD® thus allows for overall and progressive rejuvenation: Sofwave™ works in depth to firm and tone, while LaseMD™ optimizes the surface appearance and skin radiance.
After the session

Sofwave® treatment technique
Sofwave™ is based on a patented innovation: technology SUPERB™ (Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam).
The handpiece emits parallel and synchronized ultrasound which target a precise depth of the dermis (approximately 1,5 mm).
At this level, the waves cause a controlled thermal rise (60 to 70°C), sufficient to stimulate:
- La neocollagenesis (production of new collagen).
- The regeneration of theelastin.
- The stimulation of theendogenous hyaluronic acid.
System Sofcool™ integrated continuously cools the epidermis, guaranteeing a maximum safety and increased comfort throughout the session.
Why is this depth ideal?
- Too superficial: the treatment does not act on the structures responsible for the sagging.
- Too deep: risk of reaching fat, muscles or nerves.
- At 1,5 mm: targeted action on the middle dermis, where the collagen and elastin fibers are located.
Published clinical studies on Sofwave™ are particularly encouraging. They show a 97% satisfaction rate from the first session, with a visible improvement in skin firmness from the first week. Results continue to intensify, reaching their peak effect around the twelfth week, and are generally maintained for up to two years.

What is Sofwave™ treatment?
Sofwave™ is a state-of-the-art technology that uses microfocused ultrasound to deeply stimulate collagen and elastin production. It helps firm skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and treat sagging skin—without surgery or downtime.
How does the treatment work?
Ultrasound targets the middle layer of the dermis (1,5 mm) by generating controlled heat. This stimulation triggers neocollagenesis (new collagen production), gradually improving the skin's firmness and elasticity.
Is the treatment personalized?
Yes. The depth and intensity of the ultrasound are adapted according to the area to be treated and the indication. Sofwave™ thus offers a tailor-made treatment for each patient.
How many sessions are needed?
Most patients see results after the first session. Depending on their needs, a second session may be offered, usually 6 to 12 months apart.
What results can we expect?
Firmer, more toned skin, smoothed wrinkles and fine lines, redefined facial contours, and an overall more youthful appearance. Results appear gradually, 3 to 6 months after the session, and can last up to 1 year.
